The Glitterati Gallery x Motif

Spring has been off to a rocky start here in Melbourne. The indecisive weather has left us all a bit disoriented as we transition into the new season. This mid-spring week seems as if the season has finally arrived. As the weather slowly warms, the city moves towards v-necks and light camis, putting away the woollen turtlenecks and floor duster coats. This movement into Spring signals the precious period of time where accessorising is the focal point of style.

I’m so excited to show you all The Glitterati Gallery x Motif content that I’ve been working on. Motif is an up and coming online store where you can buy the latest in jewellery trends, designed by leading bloggers and digital influencers. With styles suiting both the minimalist and the maximalist, Motif has the ideal accessories for all.

Melbourne Minimal

Lately, I’ve been facing the constant struggle of finding balance. The school to work to leisure ratio of my life is not preferable.

After enduring a few weeks of exhausting anarchy, I decided to reward myself with a treat. No, I did not buy myself food. This is not a foodie post. Instead, I bought myself a lovely timepiece by The Fifth. I say this every time I buy something new, but it is one of the best purchases I have ever made.

I purchased the Rose Gold & Peach timepiece from the Melbourne Minimal range. A range inspired by the effortless style of Melbourne’s city. I love the elegant white face and brushed rose gold casing. This timepiece really is where ‘classic meets contemporary’. Could we all also take a moment just to appreciate how pretty the black box is. It’s got a cute little V on it and everything.

I’ve wanted a watch like this for a while now and I finally got it! Usually I tend to stick to sale items, because that’s really all I can afford most of the time, but for a The Fifth watch, the splurge was worth it. You’ll definitely be seeing more of this watch in future lookbook posts to come.

I love the unique roman numeral at the fifth hour. Although a lot of watches lately, are taking on a similar design, I see The Fifth as one of the original minimalistic labels. The distinct V also helps to set The Fifth watches apart from the mainstream of other labels imitating the design.

Hopefully this little timepiece will help me balance my life with some time management. Have a nice day everyone x
