Don’t want none unless you got Sugar Buns
Ironically, no sugar buns were ordered at today’s bruncheon. However, the corn fritters were certainly not a disappointment. A lovely combination of avo, salsa, sour cream and dukkah where savoury meets sweet on a fork.
The brioche french toast offered a contrast of sweet and sour. As overly sweet as it looks, it was anything but. The seasonal fruits added a nice tang that balanced out the flavours. Side note: the grilled banana was amazing.
..and this was the mini shake. I have only two words to describe this beautifully composed mess of chocolate and sweets. Deliciously sickening.
The pineapple sunset and the tropical smoothies (left to right) were a colourful sip from heaven.
